Our room smelled. Water damage everywhere, Cockroachs in our bathroom and mold in the shower. The shower curtain was falling off. The ice maker was broken and leaking on the floor. Trash all over er the parking lot. The elevator was dirty. The hallway was stained and dirty. The worst stay at a choice hotel ever.

When I went to take a shower, there was a face cloth left in the shower from the previous guest.

Upon arrival we were given two keys that didn't work for our room door. We went downstairs twice after having the keys activated, to have to get new keys and change rooms. The hallway on the floor we stayed on had a strong smell of curry, and looked like cat litter scattered all on the carpet. When finally getting into our room, we were hit with a strong mildew and mold smell in the entire room. Upon assessment, the filter in the AC unit was completely covered in black particles. When cleaned off in the tub, the smell of mold/mildew decreased but was still present. When going to bed, there was a strong smell of cigarettes that also infiltrated the room and remained until our check out. The blackout curtains do not close, for there is no track for them in the middle of the window, which allowed the sun to appear bright in the room at 5am, after going to bed at 1am. We had used the shower, which there was only one bar of soap to be used to wash our hands at the sink and wash our bodies -only shampoo and conditioner in the shower. The hair dryer did not work in the room either.
