Maintenance guy was at front desk while attendant was out to lunch. Sign said back in 10. The attendant was back in 30. We asked if room was ready and first response was check in is not until 3..Turned out there was an available room, but it would cost 20.00 in cash or 25 with credit card. I said I had no cash and was told I could pay the 20.00 when I came back. I did not end up paying additional 20.00. It was just an unprofessional exchange. I will not return to this hotel

My room was way too close to a busy street.
A petty thing - Some of the desk help weren't very professional. (My check-in lady did a nice job.) Not dressed professionally but way too casual for the job.
When I checked out, I was barely acknowledged and another guest insisted on my opinion about an energetic conversation he was having with the desk clerk. Couldn't get out of there fast enough.
I also noticed a "No dogs" sign posted. As I was checking in, a lady with a dog (not a service dog) was checking in without an issue. Don't know the story, but it seemed that rules weren't really the rules.
The breakfast was okay, but not great, but there didn't seem to be anyone servicing the food. The meat bin was totally empty.
The rooms felt cheaply remodeled. The A/C-heater was the older kind that had been converted to a wall thermostat. As I was leaving, my foot knocked the cover off the A/C unit when just barely touching it.
The chair at the desk was not adjustable and clearly well worn.

The room we stayedi n had two queens (not doubles); the "continental breakfast" was basic but adequate for our needs; the room was clean and everything worked just fine.
