Walking into the second floor gave me a uneasy feeling like I was in a horror flick. The bathroom sink was super high pressure and got me soaked and then in the morning my supposed to be a quick 5 min shower that turned in a 35 min shower since the shower head/pressure was horrible. We asked to move rooms and the lady at the counter told the person on the phone that we didn’t like the pressure not that it was faulty. She gave us another room on the first floor. The person on the second level was stomping basically all through the night kept us up. Those ceilings are paper thin. Not happy no sleep!

The staff were very nice and did make us feel welcome. The room was clean which is the major thing for us...the hotel is old and could use some upgrades but all in all a nice hotel.

My score is reflective on the interior of the building and our room. The stairwell door was often left open and unlocked. The carpet and walls in the stairwell were dirty. The wallpaper in the hallway was dirty and did not match well with the vinyl flooring. Inside the room, it was sparsely decorated with minimal (old looking) furniture. The sitting chair was worn and stained on the arms, and the office desk was worn. Although the room was clean, the interior did not make you feel it. I felt like I was in a dorm room in which the roommate left half of the worn out furniture. No doors on the closet. None of the interior matched (vinyl floor, green/brown drapes, and cream colored wallpaper). It did not feel welcoming or comforting. The door knob on the door leading to an outdoor patio did not lock, which I suppose is why 2 additional door locks were placed on the door. It seemed like there was a fan in the bathroom, but it did not work or turn on when the light switch was turned on (no other switch). So, it got very steamy during the shower, which is most likely why the wallpaper in the room and bathroom is starting to lift and peel. The price (IMO) was high for what we got. It is a convenient location, but the comfort of a nice hotel room was missing.
