Our motel room was filthy, dead fly, dirt and small bits of trash on the floor, and I had to spend 40 minutes cleaning it. It was pretty bad. One of the beds sheets were clean, but my bed’s were dirty, they didn’t smell clean, and they had cut hair all over them. The night manager refused to exchange them, I had to shake out as much of the hair possible, and then make the bed, with the dirty sheets, disgusting. In addition the beds had fairly thin mattresses on a steel platform, not what you would expect for $200 per night. Sleeping on my side was not comfortable. Be forewarned, even though the online Econo Lodge online booking receipt states major credit card or cash deposit, this Econo Lodge, also required a $100 cash deposit. All in all a miserable night spent, I would strongly suggest staying almost anywhere else. The online reviews of this hotel were fairly good, my stay did not reflect those ratings. This is my personal experience at this hotel, and you may have a totally different one.
