As much as the room was ok, there are some issues with it. To begin with, we didn’t know we were booked into an Accessible room. With the sink outside the bathroom it is not hygienic after using the toilet. Also, the sink counter is taken up with the coffee maker, Would be better to find a place in the room for it. There is no where to hand a damp towel or wash cloth at the sink.Great to have drying rack at the sink area. As a short person, I found the sink counter too high to even brush my teeth, ended up spitting on the edge or had to lean over to do that and hurt my ribs. And lastly, the shower! There is apparently no way to turn off either the telephone shower or the ceiling shower. So, because the floor ledge is so low, we had a major flood, flowing out the door of the bathroom to the carpeted area and all the way to the entrance door. Thankfully Jim at the desk was able to bring us a lot of extra towels to mop up. I am sorry that this review is not more positive, because we did like the bedroom area, just found problems with the bathroom/sink areas. BAL.

The hotel itself was nice and clean. The major problem was housekeeping they didn’t make the beds in the three days we were there just pulled the top Cover-up, pillows weren’t straightened or fluffed and the floor wasn’t vacuumed. The one evening the top sheet was pulled to the middle of the bed when we pulled back the covers to go to bed.

I travel with a dog. I booked a room at the Clarion 2 weeks prior to my arrival. Nowhere in the room reservation system did it say that only certain rooms were dog friendly. No where in the room description does it say "this is NOT a pet friendly room". There are no filters available to search for pet friendly rooms. Consequently, the room I booked and paid for in advance was not pet friendly, and I was turned away by the staff member at the front counter. I was forced to try to find another hotel room that accepted pets at 10:00pm on a Friday night. Thankfully I was able to find a room. I am expecting a full refund on the room I was not allowed to use, and I'm doubtful that I would ever stay at this hotel again, despite the fact that I have used this hotel several times in the past. Very disappointing to have to find another room so late in the evening.
