Excellent stay
It was very clean and quiet. The lady at the front desk was so sweet and helpful.

Good room, good stay, breakfast was a non-starter
Everything to do with breakfast on Saturday morning was poorly done.
The lobby door was still locked at 6:15, breakfast was supposed to start at 6:00. I finally pushed the night buzzer, and I saw movement in the lobby. The lady who was supposed to be handling things was asleep on the lobby couch, with the pillow and blanket.
She unlocked for us, and since the dining room was dark, I turned on the light. She went back and laid down on the lobby couch again.
Breakfast was laid out, BUT it was not ready. The small egg omelets were refrigerator-cold. The sausage patties were covered in gray, congealed grease, since the patties were also cold. Not room temp, but cold. My wife tried a biscuit, but it wasn't done in the middle, it was still doughy. The waffle machine worked, but there was no syrup. I woke up the lady on the couch, and she went to the kitchen and found a bottle of syrup.
If you advertise a "hot breakfast" opening at 6:00, there should be a hot breakfast ready at 6:00.
Clerks should not be sleeping in the lobby when the hotel is supposed to be open for business. When awakened, she shouldn;t be going back to sleep after letting people in.

This is the second year we stayed here heading to Gulf Shores. It has a lot people hanging out in the parking lot partying and being very noisy during the evening. This time they had a major argument out in the parking lot that woke me up. Not staying here ever again.
